The National Aikido Federation is located in Canberra, Australia. We are the ideal club for individuals who are passionate and committed to unruled real combat and self-defence against any situations.
The Federation trains in real combat arts, passed down to the club's instructor, John Turnbull Sensei. Turnbull Sensei was the first Australian student of Seiichi Sugano Sensei in 1965. He is the longest training aikidoka in Australia.
Our Australian National University club, established in 1968, is Australia's longest established aikido club.
Our club’s instructors are certified under the Australian Government’s National Coaching Accreditation Scheme.
